VALNERINA - What to see |
| There
are so many excursions that you can plan during your stay in our Agriturismo,
starting of course from Cascia and Norcia, goals of religious and
also eno-gastronomical tourism (with the deliciousness of Umbrian Norcineria);
wonderful artistical town, like Assisi with its marvellous Cathedral, visited
by million tourists every year, or Spoleto, with its churches and monuments,
historical and artistical proof from Romanic to Renaissance; passing through,
of course, Montefalco, land of vineyards, to taste a good Sagrantino Wine,
and Trevi, reign of extra virgin olive oil.
Without forgetting the many
small Abbeys located in various spots in Valnerina, like Sant'Eutizio,
San Felice, Madonna della Stella, or its marvellous Castles, upon the hills
from where they still protect and dominate the valleys below, as those in Postignano
or Umbriano.
And, of course, Valnerina and its naturalistic treasures, the
Sibillini Park, where you can still meet the wolf, the smashing Marmore
Waterfall, the Nera River, the Fonti del Clitunno, the vast extent
of Pian' Grande di Castelluccio, with its wonderful explosion of colors during
spring flowering, as well as the Villages like Piedipaterno, Cerreto, Monte
San Vito, many small cribs waiting for you so to give you their welcome in Valnerina.
